Installing an eSIM from a QR code takes 5 minutes. Step-by-step guides for iPhone and Android, a pre-flight checklist and what to do when it will not connect.
The whole process takes 5 minutes: scan the QR code, add the eSIM in your phone settings and switch it on when you arrive. Separate steps for iPhone and Android below.
Before you fly
Install over Wi-Fi — downloading the eSIM needs a connection.
Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked.
Install at home, but keep the data off until you arrive — validity will not burn for nothing.
Installing on iPhone
Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.
Choose “Use QR Code” and scan the code from your account.
Name the new line (say, “Travel”) and confirm.
Keep calls on your primary SIM; leave “Cellular Data” on it too for now — you will switch to the eSIM on arrival.
Menu names shift a little between Android versions. If you cannot find it, type “eSIM” into the settings search — if the entry exists, it will come up.
If it does not work — where to start
The QR will not scan: raise the screen brightness or show the code from another screen. Saving it as an image and picking it from the gallery also works.
It says the code is invalid: the code has already been used. A QR is one-time — it cannot be installed again on another phone.
The eSIM is added but there is no data: check that the line is switched on and that “Mobile data” is set to it.
No network: turn airplane mode on for ten seconds and off again, then restart the phone. Registering can take a few minutes.
With data roaming off a travel eSIM will not work — it attaches to someone else’s network. Turn roaming on for that line.
If none of it helps, message us on Telegram with your order number and the step you stopped at.
When you arrive
Turn off airplane mode and let the phone find a local network.
Select the eSIM as your mobile data line in settings.
Enable “Data roaming” on the eSIM line — travel eSIMs work in roaming mode, and there is no extra charge for it.
Not connecting?
Restart the phone — that alone fixes most cases.
Check that “Data roaming” is enabled on the eSIM line specifically.
Pick a network manually: Settings → Carrier selection → turn off automatic and try another network from the list.
Still nothing? Message us through the support page — a real person will answer.
Do I need to print the QR code?
No. Open the code on another screen (a computer or a second phone) and scan it, or use manual entry right on the device.
What happens if I delete the eSIM?
A deleted eSIM usually cannot be restored — the QR code is single-use. Do not delete it until the trip is over; if you do not need it, just disable the line.
Can I top up if I run out of data?
On most plans, yes — your eSIM page in the account has a top-up button. No need to install a new eSIM.
